Backup/Restore from Cpanel to DA

Go to Cpanel Backups
Download or Generate a Full Website Backup
Remote FTP Server (passive mode transfer)
Remote Server: 122.155.5.150
Remote User: admin
Remote Password: xxxxxxxxx
Port: 21
Remote Dir: /
You will get a file name sth like
backup-12.21.2010_19-46-22_warubber.tar.gz
move the file to import
edit defaults.conf (done)
run command “perl da.cpanel.import.pl”
answer yes/no/yes
after done you will have a file name sth like
warubber.tar.gz in your export folder
move the file to
/home/atime/user_backups
Go to DirectAdmin and restore the backup from atime’s Manage User Backups
Under Restore Backup
Choose Local
Choose Use the IP stored in the backup
Select warubber.tar.gz
Submit All done.
